Dear Cesar Chavez Academy Families,

I’m excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Cesar Chavez Academy. It’s a true honor to join a school with such a strong sense of community, deep pride, and a shared commitment to student success.

I’ve been in education for 26 years, serving as both a teacher and administrator. For the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of being an elementary principal. Before that, I worked at both the elementary and intermediate levels. These experiences have shaped who I am as a leader and reinforced what matters most—building strong relationships, supporting great teaching, and creating a safe, positive place where students can grow and thrive.

Cesar Chavez Academy is a unique school that serves students from transitional kindergarten all the way through eighth grade. I know how important a school community is to a family, and I want every Chavez family to feel welcome, valued, and connected. Whether your child is just starting their first day of TK or preparing to head off to high school, I’m here to support them every step of the way.

I look forward to meeting you, learning your stories, and working together to help all of our Thunderbirds reach their highest potential.
